La voz de la imagen TVE
Aware of the necessary and urgent task of gathering audiovisual resources of the memories of our photographers, as well as the personal analysis of their works and those of other contemporary artists, the General Deputy Directorate for the Promotion of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports decided to undertake this project, developed by José Luis López Linares and Publio López Mondéjar, in order to interview a group of professionals who, due to their old age, can leave us a very valuable oral memory of the professional situations of their lives, which is essential to be able to reconstruct the baselines of Spanish photography. By doing so, the General Deputy Directorate for the Promotion of Fine Arts intends to offer an articulated documentary about each of the photographers interviewed, incorporating a selection of images, and the opinions and memories of their professional, family and love life.
